With winter winding down, this is the time of year where the preserves are serving us well
At home we love our stewed apple and pears. I also dream that this summer I will preserve!

Simply soak your dried fruit in cold water over night, add the spices of your choice and
Voila!
You have juicy and slightly firmer than preserved but still so soft, sweetly spiced fruit
All without needing to chop, cook, or wash a saucepan.
Enjoy on porridge or with yoghurt or drizzled with cream or ie cream

- Try figs, peaches, pears, apricots, cranberries, raisins, apples and more...
- Soak overnight in water
- Add a sprinkling of your choice of spices ie, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, cardamom, nutmeg.
