Chocolate Porridge Cake
This cake is the absolute best way to use up any left over porridge from breakfast and it's sooo delicious!
The left over porridge makes a moist and dense crumb. If you have any added fruit added to your porridge, even better!
- 1 to 2 cups of left over porridge. Any fruit or flavours added only make it better!
- 100gms butter melted
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 and a half cups of soft brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teasp. carb soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs (beaten)
Mix it all together. EASY PEASY!
Bake at 180 degrees for approx 45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
Ice with chocolate icing.
