Chocolate Porridge Cake

 

This cake is the absolute best way to use up any left over porridge from breakfast and it's sooo delicious!

The left over porridge makes a moist and dense crumb. If you have any added fruit added to your porridge, even better!
  • 1 to 2 cups of left over porridge. Any fruit or flavours added only make it better!
  • 100gms butter melted
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 and a half cups of soft brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teasp. carb soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs (beaten)

Mix it all together. EASY PEASY!

Bake at 180 degrees for approx 45 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

Ice with chocolate icing.

DAH DAH!!
